MSG150 presents Ratatouille

This Saturday, September 6, 2008, the Seattle Parks department will be showing Ratatouille in the ID's Hing Hay Park, hosted by us, MSG150. Yes, you heard that right. The city of Seattle and the good people who promote business and community in the ID have somehow determined that MSG150 crew is qualified enough to emcee a public event. I'm not sure how they came to this decision (I suspect we were vetted even less than Sarah Palin) but we were happy to accept the gig.

There's gonna be some games, prizes, food vendors, popcorn, good conversation, and fun for the whole family*. Once the sun goes down, the movie screen will light up, and we will shut up. Security will be tight so those looking for payback for a bad review will have to bring their A game. Also, there is still time for good old fashioned bribery. It's completely possible we typed "sucky" when we meant "succulent". Hey, that's nothing a couple of crisp Benjamins couldn't fix.**

Hing Hay Park is located at 423 Maynard Ave. S. The festivities begin at 6:30 PM, and the movie should start by 8:30 PM.

Special thanks to Joyce from the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority (SCIDpda) for inviting us!

Hope to see you there!

* Please refrain from throwing said games, prizes, food vendors, popcorn, good conversation, or fun at the emcees, even if we suck.

** Actually the whole bribery thing never panned out so we are now taking the moral high ground. We may still take your money, but the reviews are etched in stone.
